Hey kids, wanna get good at Gaelic games? Well the ABC Nursery Programme is just the thing for you, full of fun exercises to develop movement skills for kids aged 4-8 years old.

These exercises are the perfect starting point to help you develop all the cool skills of Hurling and Gaelic Football. It’s important to get good at your movement, balance and ball skills at an early age as it will help you as a player later on. These are the basics and should always be practised no matter what age you are, even the top GAA stars use them as warm-up exercises.

The ABC Programme will make it easier for your Coach to help you achieve your full potential through a range of activities. These are Agility, Balance, Coordination, Running and Jumping. ABC stands for Acquiring Bilateral Coordination. OK, that’s a lot of big words but it simply means that you develop using the left and right sides of the body.

So ask your Coach or Teacher about it and why not try some of the exercises below and remember, it’s as easy as ABC.
